Storytelling is one of my greatest joys and I always like to dig deeper. I started my career in Evansville, Indiana where I acquired numerous honors from the Indiana Society of Professional Journalists and the Associated Press. I jumped to a top 50 market, landing in Louisville, Kentucky, home of the Kentucky Derby! While in the Derby City, I was recognized with a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award. I relocated to Reno, Nevada, and spent many years as an Evening News anchor for the local ABC affiliate. In 2020, I secured that station's first Emmy Award in history and launched the market's only 10 p.m local newscast. In 2022, I stepped away from anchoring news to start my own freelance multimedia firm. See the Press Release

I believe that as a journalist, integrity is the foundation of good work.

I'm unapologetic about my identity as a Black woman. I choose to see it as an asset. I always lead with kindness, and I choose to edify others and bring love and light to the injustices of the world. Ultimately, I believe that we should all be treated with respect and dignity. 

My company seeks to serve others. I provide SEO-rich newsworthy content, hosting, event planning, video production consultation, and media training.
